We are pleased to announce that the California Franchise Tax Board has recently recognized the Student Defense Initiative as exempt from California income tax. This change in status doesn’t affect you directly; however, achieving this status is the final step in the process of founding SDI. Now that the process of establishing SDI is complete, we can focus on our mission of defending Caltech undergraduate student culture.

We are 100% volunteer supported, which means that more of your money goes toward helping students and improving student-alumni relations.
